Direct and indirect sales experience Responsibilities: Development and management of an effective sales (including distributors), marketing and service organization for the Brazilian market with the objective to maximize sales and profitability. .Plan, execute and implement business plans and strategies. Manage the activities of sales team by planning, organizing, directing and controlling all the sales operations and activities. People management: lead and develop the team, giving clear direction. Motivate sales force to sell products and services through effective management of sales incentive, career development, reporting mechanisms and relationship building. Improve and/or stabilize processes related to services and logistics/inventory management. Working capital management. Liaise with Regulatory Affairs area on best local approach to broaden regulatory approval levels. Required experience and skills: Solid Commercial/Sales experience working at bioscience, lifescience and healthcare markets (including advanced medical devices), selling to hospitals, research institutes and laboratories. Direct and indirect sales experience. Experience of driving strategy, establish and execute on agreed business plans, managing budget, communication and reporting. Proven experience entering into/ramping up and documented success in managing a commercial team to overperform in the country. Proven success in consistently managing people in various roles to achieve goals. High level of energy to drive change. Clear cost and results orientation. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Academic background: B.S. Degree in Medicine, Biomedicine or Biology. Other Degrees will be considered if the professional has solid experience working at bioscience or lifescience markets. M.S. or PhD degree in a scientific discipline will be a plus. Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory. Location: São Paulo - SP. Availability to travel is required.
